Lenore’s Background

Lenore graduated with 600 hours of training in Clinical Herbalism through The Rocky Mountain Center for Botanical Studies in Boulder, Colorado in 1996. She’s also had the pleasure of studying and completing several certification courses with “Master Herbalists” in the United States including Christopher Hobbs, Michael and Leslie Tierra, Mathew Woods, Susan Weed and Rosemary Gladstar.

In 1992 Lenore began a four-year apprenticeship in the Journey to Wholeness, Spiritual Shamanic Journey Process through The Center for Spiritual Shamanic Exploration in Boulder, Colorado. She completed her apprenticeship with knowledge and experience in the Native American, Lakota spiritual traditions and empowering shamanic journey process skills.

Lenore is certified in raw food preparation through the Living Light Culinary Art Institute in California and Rawbert’s Organic Café in the Boston area. Her training provided her with knowledge of the Raw Food Diet, food preparations skills and how to facilitate classes and trainings.

In 1991 Lenore completed her Masters Degree in Experiential Education from the University of Colorado. In 1981 she completed a Bachelors Degree in Environmental Education and Human Development. It’s always been her nature to integrate modalities — combining human nature with actual nature has seemed her calling in life.

Lenore’s work with The Colorado Outward Bound School as a Wilderness Leader and Environmental Director spanned over fourteen years from 1985-1999. In 1996, she began facilitating her own wilderness retreats and nature quests in New Mexico, Colorado, Utah, Vermont, and Massachusetts.

As a child Lenore felt a strong connection with wild plants and loved being in nature. Homesteading in the woodlands of New England and working as a wilderness educator and guide for many organizations has taught her the most about living in harmony with the natural environment. She’s deeply grateful for the abundance of life force and healing that the natural world offers.

Today, Lenore presents herself not only as a Holistic Health Practitioner with a lifetime of training, certifications, and licenses but primarily offers her wisdom and blessing as an experienced woman, mother, educator, healer, and guide.
